Under the patronage of Prof. Jamal Zaid Al-Kilani, Dean of the Faculty of Shari‘ah and Director of the An-Najah Center for Religious Studies (ANCERS), the Faculty of Shari‘ah inaugurated a specialized workshop on the Prophetic Biography.
The workshop focuses on presenting the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) based on the renowned book Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar), one of the most authoritative contemporary works on the Seerah. The initiative represents a valuable new addition to the academic and extracurricular activities of the Faculty of Shari‘ah, aiming to deepen students’ understanding of the Prophetic model through structured and analytical study.
The workshop is presented by Ms. Rana Qadri, instructor at the Language Center in the Faculty of Humanities and Education and an MA student in Islamic Intellect and Comparative Religions Program. Through an academic and interactive approach, the workshop seeks to connect students with the Prophetic Biography in a methodical and reflective manner.
The event has been warmly welcomed by students and faculty members, who actively participated in the sessions, reflecting their strong interest in the study of the Seerah and its contemporary relevance.
The Faculty of Shari‘ah affirms its continued commitment to organizing scholarly initiatives that enrich students’ intellectual and spiritual formation and strengthen their engagement with Islamic heritage.
