Vision

The philosophy of the Faculty of Shari’ah stems from the deep faith in this Muslim nation, and how it is distinguished and unique. This distinction and uniqueness result from Islam, the Islamic culture, the Islamic civilization. We believe that the Muslim nations and humanity in general are thirsty to get this Islamic civilization back in all aspects of life. This is because this civilization offers a distinguished vision as it comprises sympathy and calls for mercy and honoring people. It is also based on revelation and divinity which make it able to offer solutions to many complications that encounter people nowadays in every aspect of life such as the scientific, intellectual, social and economic aspects.

Mission

The Faculty of Shari’ah aspires to graduate students who are academically, culturally, morally distinctive. In addition, it aims at creating a generation of mission carriers who have basic religious knowledge in the sciences of Shari’ah, and who contribute in the service of their society and nation and in the call for the religion based on the moderate approach which is able to comprehend Islam and deal with the society and its different issues. In addition, the faculty aspires to reinforce the factual values of Islam in terms of respecting the other, tolerance, coexistence, and above all, demonstrating the role of women in Islamic society and the position that Islam has granted them.
